Pterois is the scientific name of the lionfish, this elegant tropical fish by the many thorns and membranes. These earrings are the result of a side effect of the collar Pterois: the bright lines of the earrings are blank spaces in the necklace. The piece made me think of a turtle shell and the reflections of light on water. Like when the moon is reflected in the sea.
