Pterois collar

Pterois is the scientific name of the lionfish, this elegant tropical fish by the many thorns and membranes. Carefully observing the piece you can see a "geometry" repeated many times in my work: I imagine a kind of tension between two opposing groups of curves, two fields, or an opposition between two masses crossed by a narrow stream. But the result is a nice fish that looks like finning languidly among the corals.
